Therap Announces New Scheduling Module Including Timesheets and Check-In/Out Via Mobile App
Intellectual & developmental disability software now includes Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) documentation for Home Health services
WATERBURY, Conn., Oct. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Therap's Scheduling/EVV module allows service providers to build staff schedules (essential for in-home and community-based services) to track staff hours, monitor individual service allocation and verify service provision, meeting upcoming federal and state EVV requirements in accordance to the 21st Century CURES Act.
The Scheduling module features configurable calendar-based schedules using drag and drop calendar features, making schedule creation and viewing multiple individuals/staff an intuitive process with a user-friendly interface. Schedules are linked to service authorizations and billable units to track utilization through the staff schedule. Staff in the field can view their current or upcoming schedule, along with location/assignment details, and have built-in map features to navigate and verify a service location. Schedule information directs staff to the right place at the right time; staff know who they will be working with, and what service they are to provide. Through configurable caseload access, supported individuals and their circle of support can view the schedule and upcoming staff assignments.
By using the Therap mobile applications for iOS and Android devices, staff can remotely check in and out using geolocation features and electronic timestamps. Supervisors also have the ability to monitor staff check in/out information in real-time, providing intellectual and developmental disability providers with an added layer of accountability and an audit tool to verify service provision.
The Scheduling module includes reporting features to identify over- and under-scheduling, staff working over or under their allotted hours, over- or under-utilization of authorized hours, and services not being provided at the anticipated locations.
