theMednet Awarded $2M Contract by the National Cancer Institute to Develop an AI-Based Platform to Revolutionize Clinical Trial Search and Improve Enrollment and Diversity

NEW YORK, Oct. 29, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- theMednet, the leading Question-and-Answer platform for physicians, has been awarded a $2 million contract by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to develop an Artificial Intelligence-based platform aimed at increasing physician engagement in cancer clinical trials, with a special focus on improving diversity among trial participants.

Building on theMednet's robust online community utilized by over 85% of U.S. oncologists, this innovative solution uses the latest AI techniques to match physician inquiries with relevant clinical trials, ultimately improving patient access to potentially life-saving therapies. The intelligent matching will also ensure that physicians receive real-time, personalized trial recommendations based on their specialty, location, and patient demographics.
