The9 Limited Announces Termination of EA SPORTS(TM) FIFA Online 2 License in China
SHANGHAI, Dec. 6, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- The9 Limited (Nasdaq: NCTY) ("The9"), an online game operator and developer in China, announced today that it has entered into mutual agreement with Electronic Arts (Nasdaq: ERTS) ("EA") for early termination of EA SPORTSTM FIFA Online 2 license and commercial operation of the game in China. The company anticipates that it will cease operation of EA SPORTS™ FIFA Online 2 in the second calendar quarter of 2011.
