'The X Factor' and Pepsi Introduce Fan-Selected Pepsi Choice Performance
Fans to Help Select Elements of Special Ensemble Performance on THE X FACTOR Live Results Show Wednesday, November 23, on FOX
PURCHASE, N.Y., Nov. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Pepsi and THE X FACTOR have introduced "Pepsi Choice Performance," a new partnership element allowing fans to help select details of a special ensemble performance by the finalists on THE X FACTOR live results show on a special night, Wednesday, Nov. 23 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), on FOX.
With the introduction of this fan-friendly element, viewers now will have the ability to help select certain aspects of the "Pepsi Choice Performance" including songs, wardrobe style, dance style and special effects. In addition, there will be a special "creative suggestion box" that will enable fans to offer other ideas to be considered by the show's producers.
"Pepsi is allowing fans of THE X FACTOR to give their creative input on what they want to see from these terrific acts," said Frank Cooper, CMO Global Consumer Engagement, PepsiCo. "This is a great opportunity for our fans to really become involved in the show at an even deeper, more engaging level."
