The World Congress of Veterinary Dermatology Executive Organizing Committee (WCVD7) Announces the Opening of Registration for Quadrennial Meeting in Vancouver, Canada in 2012.
VANCOUVER, Canada, March 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The World Association for Veterinary Dermatology (WAVD) and the Executive Organizing Committee of the 7th World Congress of Veterinary Dermatology (WCVD7) invite veterinarians around the world to join dermatologists, dermatopathologists, researchers, clinicians and veterinary technicians to beautiful Vancouver, Canada for the WCVD7 to be held from July 24 to July 28, 2012. This is the second World Congress to be held in Canada as WCVD2 was hosted by Montreal in 1992.
Dr. Manon Paradis, President of the WCVD7 executive organizing committee and a Professor at the University of Montreal College of Veterinary Medicine, says, "We are excited about the scientific program that will deliver the newest advances in veterinary dermatology including clinical and scientific research as well as a comprehensive and advanced continuing education program and workshops that will highlight current trends in clinical veterinary dermatology practice from around the world." State of the art presentations, supporting reviews and original studies from topics such as allergy and immunology, skin biology, novel and developing therapies, bacterial diseases and cutaneous oncology are planned. Additional featured aspects of the Congress also include two day programs focusing on equine and feline dermatology and a one day exotic animal dermatology program.
