The Williams Capital Group Hires Seven Industry Veterans to Form Research Platform
NEW YORK, Jan. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The WILLIAMS CAPITAL GROUP, L.P. (www.willcap.com), has established a full service institutional research platform that offers proprietary, fundamental equity research, the firm announced today.
The research group, WILLIAMS CAPITAL RESEARCH ("WCR"), is co-headed by industry veteran Jack Murphy, who will serve as Co-Director of Research.
Mr. Murphy has more than 25 years of global financial services experience and diverse expertise in fundamental and quantitative research. Previously, Mr. Murphy has held senior roles at C.J. Lawrence, Deutsche Bank, Raymond James and Soleil Securities. Prior to joining Williams Capital, Mr. Murphy founded and managed an independent institutional research platform.
