NEW YORK, Feb. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ - The Weather Network announced today the launch of live streaming services within their TV Apps for a wide range of platforms. The addition of live streaming to The Weather Network's already robust array of weather services marks a distribution milestone. The Weather Network now provides live weather forecasts and reports to all major streaming media devices, Over The Top (OTT) Electronic Program Guides and all major smart TV manufacturers in the US.
The Weather Network is now available through the following services and manufacturers:
- OTT providers with Electronic Program Guides – Freecast and Pluto TV
- Smart TV manufacturers – Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Philips, Opera TV, Sharp, Sony, and others
