The VWR Foundation Celebrates Five Years of Supporting Science

VWR Corporation Commits $250,000 to Celebrate the Milestone

RADNOR, Pa., Dec. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The VWR Charitable Foundation, dedicated to giving back to the science community, is celebrating five years of operations. Since 2009, the Foundation has donated more than $1.13 million to more than 75 organizations and programs around the globe. In honor of the Foundation's five year milestone, VWR Corporation is donating $250,000 to the VWR Foundation so it can continue its efforts to make a difference.

The VWR Foundation focuses on helping organizations aligned with its mission of research for new innovation and scientific applications, improving health and well-being, and building greater awareness and improvement in science education. In 2014, the Foundation issued 40 grants.
