The Valence Group Successfully Completes Its Exclusive Financial Advisory Role to Cognis With the Conclusion of the Sale of Its UV Acrylates Business to IGM
LONDON, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The Valence Group, the fast growing specialist chemicals M&A advisory boutique, today successfully completed its advisory role representing Cognis in the sale of its UV acrylates business to IGM Resins NV. The UV acrylates business was part of Cognis' Functional Products strategic business unit. The UV acrylates business manufactures and sells monomers and oligomers for UV applications marketed under the Photomer brand name. The sale of the UV acrylates business included the Photomer trademarks, intellectual property, inventory, and the Charlotte manufacturing site in the US. The manufacturing employees at this site have been transferred to the new owner, as well as several business related employees in the US, France and Asia.
