The Valence Group Appoints Paul Lakind as Chief Administrative Officer

NEW YORK, June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The Valence Group, a specialist M&A boutique offering advisory services to companies and investors exclusively in the chemicals, materials and related sectors, today announced that Paul Lakind has been appointed Chief Administrative Officer, effective immediately.  Mr. Lakind, who will be based in New York, will help support the international expansion and overall growth of Valence.

Mr. Lakind has extensive experience in growing and overseeing company operating initiatives.  In his role at Valence, he will be responsible for Valence's compliance, recruitment, human resources, IT, finance, legal, marketing and general firm management.  Prior to joining Valence, Mr. Lakind's previous leadership roles included serving as Chief Operating Officer of Credit Agricole Cheuvreux North America, a leading broker-dealer, as well as Chief Operating Officer of EDGE Services, an IT consulting firm.  Mr. Lakind has also served as Chief Operating Officer of a number of U.S. retail banks, including the private bank of the United States Senate and United States Supreme Court.
