The Turkish Pavilion Joins Furniture China
SHANGHAI, Dec. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The international pavilions of Furniture China will have new members in 2015. More than 10 Turkish furniture companies will group join the 21st China International Furniture Expo, exhibiting at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Pudong, Shanghai in September 2015.
According to CSIL, Turkish Furniture Export ranked 16th in the world, account for nearly two percent of the global market and witnessed a 292 percent increase from 2003 to 2011. The Turkey Furniture Association is predicting that, over the next five years, Turkey would be in the top 10 list of the world's furniture exporting countries if it can keep its 20 percent export increase over the next two years. Presently, Turkish furniture is mainly exported to Iraq, Germany and Iran, followed by Azerbaijan, France, Turkmenistan, the Netherlands, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Italy.
It is worth mentioning that over 20 years of development, Furniture China has achieved a world-class reputation, seen from the a number of overseas buyers from more than 150 countries and regions that come to visit the show every year. This platform is not only for overseas exhibitors to expand the Chinese market, but offers them bountiful opportunities to export to third world countries. Furthermore, visitors are expected to catch sight of Arabic, contemporary and European styled furniture from Turkey.
Furniture China 2014 attracted 21,823 overseas from 158 countries and regions, which raised 3.3 percent and hit a record high. The exhibiting overseas brands are from over 27 countries all over Europe, Asia, Oceania and the Americas, including South Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Germany, France, Italy, Britain, the Netherlands, Russia, Belgium, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Australia, and Brazil. The international pavilions have added Korea to its list this year, exhibiting together with France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore, which formed the eight international pavilions at Furniture China.
