The Tonight Show Host and #1 New York Times Bestselling Author Jimmy Fallon Announces New Picture Book
EVERYTHING IS MAMA to be published October 10, 2017
NEW YORK, June 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Feiwel & Friends, an imprint of Macmillan Children's Publishing Group, has acquired world rights to EVERYTHING IS MAMA by Jimmy Fallon, host of NBC's The Tonight Show. The book will be on sale October 10, 2017.
Following his #1 New York Times bestseller YOUR BABY'S FIRST WORD WILL BE DADA, EVERYTHING IS MAMA is a hilarious ode to motherhood, once again illustrated by Miguel Ordóñez. Dads all over the world got to share a special story with their little ones with Jimmy's first book—and now it's Mama's turn to shine. EVERYTHING IS MAMA is a lighthearted look at the world from your baby's point of view, as different animals try to teach their children that there are other words in addition to MAMA for familiar objects and activities.
"I wrote my first children's book because I wanted my baby's first word to be DADA. It worked. But her second, third and fourth word was MAMA. She even wanted MAMA to read "DADA". Everything is MAMA. If you have a three-year-old, they'll love the pictures. And if you have a one-year-old, they'll love how it tastes," said Jimmy Fallon.
"While trying to teach his daughters, Winnie Rose and Frances Cole, their first words—'Dada' for example, 'apple,' or 'boat'—Jimmy learned very quickly that everything is 'Mama.' No matter the person, place or thing—it's Mama. And that's what this book is all about," said Jean Feiwel, publisher of Feiwel & Friends.
EVERYTHING IS MAMA will be on sale October 10, 2017, but is available for pre-order from all major retailers immediately.

NOTE TO THE PRESS:
As host of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon has expanded the boundaries of late night television, treating audiences to memorable celebrity interviews, creative musical bits, and groundbreaking viral videos. The four-time Emmy winner began his career in 1998 with six successful seasons at Saturday Night Live, and went on to host SNL three times -- most recently in April 2017 for the show's first-ever live coast-to-coast broadcast. His appearance coincided with the launch of "Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon," a 3D motion-simulator attraction at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. In 2009, Fallon returned to NBC as host of the award-winning Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, and quickly made the show his own, entertaining millions of viewers every night with his unique talents and charm. His comedy album Blow Your Pants Off, featuring collaborations with Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews, and Justin Timberlake, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's comedy album chart and won the 2013 Grammy for Best Comedy Album. Fallon has written two best-selling books based on the popular Tonight Show segment Thank You Notes, and his children's book YOUR BABY'S FIRST WORD WILL BE DADA debuted at #1 the New York Times Best Sellers list.
