The Spangenberg Law Firm 2016 Video PSA Scholarship Contest Now Open for Voting

CLEVELAND, May 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --The law firm of Spangenberg Shibley & Liber would like to commend the more than 100 students from around the country who submitted a video Public Service Announcement (PSA) entry for the 2016 Video PSA College Scholarship Contest.  Each entrant submitted an original 30-to-60-second video PSA on one of four important social topics:

• What can students do to help prevent bullying?
• Elections: Why is voting important?
• How can we help young people make healthier food choices at home and in school?
• Distracted driving: What can young people do to help end this epidemic?

The First Prize winner will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship. This individual has already been selected and their video has not been posted to the public voting page.  The winners of the $1,000 Second Prize and the $500 Third Prize will be determined by the voting public.

Thirty finalists - representing 13 states and 28 different colleges and universities - have been selected. Individuals can cast their votes more than once, but voting is limited to one vote per day, per person. The deadline for voting is Friday, May 27, 2016.
