The Siegfried Group Welcomes New Team Leaders

Siegfried congratulates Amir Arani and Ryan Jackson on their new roles as Team Leaders.

Amir Arani, CPA, CA, Associate Manager, Team Leader – San Jose
Amir, a Chartered Professional Accountant, joined Siegfried in 2014, after spending more than five years at PwC in Vancouver, Canada. Amir moved to the Bay Area from Vancouver, where he attended the University of Victoria, majoring in commerce and minoring in music. He went on to attend the CA School of Business to obtain his Chartered Professional Accountant designation.

"I've always been a person who cares tremendously about the success of the people in my professional and social circles, so my new role as a Team Leader is a perfect complement to this," he said.

During his free time, Amir likes to stay active by playing golf, soccer and tennis, as well as hiking year-round. A hockey fan, he goes to as many Sharks games as he can (despite being a loyal Canucks fan). And since he's still fairly new to the United States, Amir also plans weekend trips to explore and have fun. Other interests involve writing and producing music electronically, attending live concerts and eating excessive amounts of chocolate and not worrying about the consequences.

Ryan Jackson, CPA, Senior Associate, Team Leader – South Florida 
Ryan, a Certified Public Accountant, joined Siegfried in 2015 as a Professional Resource. Prior to that, he was a Senior Auditor at KPMG, where he spent three years working on clients in nine different industries. After three "busy seasons" with KPMG, he was looking for new opportunities to challenge his personal and professional development, and found Siegfried's project-based business model compelling.

Ryan moved to the South Florida area from Raleigh, North Carolina, where he attended North Carolina State University, majoring in accounting and financial analysis, before attending the Jenkins Master of Accounting Program at the same school. While earning his Master of Accounting, Ryan volunteered as a Financial Accounting Lab Assistant, in addition to working as a server and caterer.

"Being a Team Leader is an excellent opportunity to enhance both my personal and professional development while inspiring others to embrace the values and practices that make Siegfried such a great place to work. I have always been passionate about helping others and I take great pleasure in watching others succeed. I look forward to working closely with my colleagues, as well as Leadership, during the continued growth of the South Florida Market and the Firm as a whole," he said.

Ryan enjoys spending time outdoors — you can typically find him on his boat or at the beach with his friends and family. He stays active by going to the gym daily and playing basketball. An avid traveler, Ryan typically visits four or five new places every year. Other interests include golf, Netflix originals, Marvel movies, sporting events and a good happy hour.
