The Siegfried Group Welcomes New Professionals from the Northeast Region for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Jan. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, CEO and Founder, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at The Continental Mid-town's Rooftop Lounge and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in the area including Bank & Bourbon and Sampan Restaurant.

The Siegfried Group is excited about Andrew Beaver, Grace Crawford, Jose Parra, Kevin Principato and Sarah Michau joining the Firm.

Andrew Beaver, CPA

Andrew is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Boston Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from Deloitte, where he gained three years of audit experience with a primary focus in the manufacturing industry. He received his Bachelor of Professional Accountancy from Saginaw Valley State University.

Andrew's courage and determination for success continuously puts him in a position to exceed expectations. He says, "The opportunity to experience a wide array of industries from the client perspective is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

In his free time, Andrew mentors high school students on personal development and business establishment. Although he played college football, he now enjoys less physically demanding sports such as bowling and tennis.

Grace E. Crawford, CPA 

Grace is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the New York Metro Market as a Manager. She comes to Siegfried following a year at Citigroup Internal Audit. She previously worked at PwC in both advisory and audit. Grace received a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University. 

Grace joined Siegfried for the opportunities to learn and grow personally and professionally. She adapts easily to new environments by listening attentively and learning independently. Her respectful, flexible management style fosters communication among team members. She leads by example, and her motivation to achieve goals is contagious. Grace's enthusiasm, commitment and reliability make her an asset to any team or project. 

Grace enjoys a challenge, and frequently tests her physical capabilities through training for half ironman triathlons and half marathons. She also feels inspired by giving back to her community and has been involved over the years in Junior Achievement, soup kitchens and an animal shelter. 

Jose Parra

Jose joins the New York Metro Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from Deloitte, where he gained five years of audit experience with a primary focus in the technology, media and telecommunications industries. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Montclair State University.

Jose's creative and nimble approach to solving problems, coupled with his desire to establish great, long lasting relationships makes him a distinctive player in the workplace. Jose says, "The opportunity to build new relationships, while taking on new challenging projects is why I wanted to be a part of The Siegfried Group."

In his free time, Jose stays active through sport and travel. He is an avid Yankees fan and loves heading to the ballpark. He also enjoys getting insight from locals when he travels to find the best authentic restaurants in town. Jose plans to maintain his active lifestyle wherever his work travels take him.  

Kevin Principato

Kevin recently joined the New York Metro Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from EisnerAmper, where he gained four years of audit experience with a primary focus in the financial services industry. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and his Master of Science in Taxation from the University at Albany.

Kevin is a confident professional who exhibits the mental fortitude and analytical ability to consistently deliver exceptional service to his clients. He prides himself on building great rapport with his teams and maintaining these genuine relationships. As a confident communicator, he creates synergy within the team to deliver meaningful results.

In his free time, Kevin enjoys being active in sports and travelling. He is an avid snowboarder and loves to visit different mountains throughout the winter months. He also enjoys golfing and other outdoor activities, including braving the cold temperatures to root for his New York Giants. As a willing traveler, he is looking forward to exploring new cities and maintaining an adventurous spirit wherever his work travels take him.  

Sarah Michau, CA

Sarah is a Chartered Accountant who joins the New York Metro Market as an Associate Manager. She comes to Siegfried from Deloitte, where she gained seven years of both audit and advisory experience with a primary focus in the financial services industry. She received her Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting from Stellenbosch University and her Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Accounting from the University of Cape Town. Sarah has gained a wide variety of public accounting experience both internationally as well as in the United States.

Sarah's strong organizational skills and analytical mindset, coupled with her ability to work well with others and integrate quickly into a team, make her a distinctive player in the workplace. Sarah says, "The opportunity to gain a wide variety of experiences in multiple industries and working alongside experienced, intelligent people is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

In her free time, Sarah enjoys staying active through running and participating in various classes. She enjoys spending time with friends and making the most of all that New York has to offer including dining out, absorbing the arts and culture and catching the latest shows on Broadway. Sarah also loves travelling home to South Africa for vacations and to spend time with family including her two brand new nephews that were recently welcomed into the family.
