The Siegfried Group, LLP Welcomes New Professionals from the West Region for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Jan. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose. On the final day of orientation, the group also had the chance to attend Siegfried's fourth MY Journey™ Live Event, focused on "Mental Agility." Key note speakers included Dr. Bill Isaacs, Senior Lecturer at MIT Sloan School of Management and founder and President of Dialogos, and Dr. Kaihan Krippendorff, CEO of OutThinker LLC.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of the Firm's Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The group was able to unwind during cocktail receptions as well as enjoy small group dinners held at some of the finest restaurants in Philadelphia.

In Siegfried's West region, the Firm is excited about Keith Arnold, Eric Martin, Christine Pham and Eric Selhorn joining the team.

Keith Arnold, CPA

Keith is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Los Angeles Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from PwC Vancouver, where he gained three years of audit experience. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Finance, and Economics from Simon Fraser University and received his Masters of Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan.

Keith's determination, hardworking attitude and willingness to take on new and challenging projects are what set him apart in the workplace. Keith says, "I was drawn to Siegfried because of the large scale US market exposure and the opportunity to work on such a wide variety of projects!"

In his spare time, Keith enjoys staying true to his Canadian roots by playing and watching hockey. He also has a strong sense of adventure, and recently spent a month backpacking around Thailand and Vietnam.

Eric Martin

Eric joins the Los Angeles Market as an Associate Manager with over six years of experience in both industry and Big 4 public accounting. He comes to Siegfried from Interface, Inc., and has previously worked at PwC. He graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Accounting from the University of Mississippi.

Eric's dedication to excellent client service, effective communication, and keen organizational skills are just a few attributes that set him apart from the pack. Eric says, "I joined the Firm because of the many opportunities for accelerated growth."

Eric has a strong sense of adventure, and enjoys traveling to new and exciting places in his free time. He recently returned from a three week trip in Australia, where he toured the vibrant and bustling city of Sydney and the surrounding coastline.

Christine Pham, CPA

Christine is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the San Jose Market as a Manager. She has six years of combined public accounting and industry experience as a Senior Audit Associate at Deloitte and Accounting Manager at Hercules Technology Growth Capital, Inc. She received her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from San Diego State University.

Christine's dedication, flexibility, and ability to collaborate and be a team player are what set her apart in the workplace. "I am excited about all the opportunities Siegfried has to offer both personally and professionally," Christine says. "Additionally, I am thrilled to be surrounded by fun and intelligent professionals."

In her spare time, Christine takes advantage of San Jose's beautiful scenery and enjoys the outdoors by hiking, camping and biking. She also enjoys traveling, doing yoga and exploring California's culinary scene by trying out new restaurants.

Eric Selhorn, CPA

Eric is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Denver Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from UQM Technologies Inc., where he gained four years of corporate accounting experience as an Accounting Manager. Prior to UQM, Eric worked at Deloitte in NYC within their financial industries segment. He received his BS in Accounting and Finance from Boston College.

Eric is always up for taking on new challenges and constantly looks for opportunities to learn and grow professionally. According to Eric, "I joined Siegfried because I am really attracted to the Firm's highly talented team and quality of clients."

In his spare time, Eric trains for triathlons in the summer, snowboards in the winter and enjoys as many Colorado breweries as possible year-round. He enjoys participating in a variety of outdoor activities including running, biking and hiking.
