New Employees Travel to Las Vegas' Mandarin Oriental Hotel

The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of the Firm's Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The group was able to unwind during cocktail receptions as well as enjoy small group dinners held at some of the finest restaurants in Las Vegas.
In Siegfried's South Florida office in the South region, the Firm is excited about Calvin Hamstra joining the team.
Calvin Hamstra, CPA
Calvin is a Certified Public Accountant who joins Siegfried's South Florida Market as an Associate Manager. He joins the Firm from Crowe Horwath, where he gained five years of audit experience. He received his BS in Accounting and Management from Purdue University.
Calvin's work ethic, enthusiasm, and ability to learn quickly are what set him apart in the workplace. He says, "I'm excited to be joining a firm with such a great entrepreneurial spirit where I can define my own path!"
In his spare time, Calvin enjoys tennis, basketball, and scuba diving. He has also traveled extensively, having visited over 30 countries and is adding one more when he travels to Peru this fall with his wife and newborn son!
