The Siegfried Group, LLP Welcomes New Professionals from the New York Market for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Oct. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model and various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of the Firm's Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The group was able to unwind during cocktail receptions as well as enjoy small group dinners held at some of the finest restaurants in Las Vegas.

In Siegfried's New York Metro office in the Northeast region, the Firm is excited about Martina Featherston and Lauren Sorrentino joining the team.

Martina Featherston, CPA

Martina is a Certified Public Accountant joining the New York Market as a Senior Associate. She joined Siegfried from Deloitte, where she gained over three years of public accounting experience. She received her BS in Accounting and Masters in Taxation from Fordham University.

Martina prides herself on developing long lasting relationships with her clients and colleagues. She does so by utilizing her communication and interpersonal skills to provide the best possible client service. Martina says, "The opportunity to meet a diverse group of Siegfried professionals and clients is what sparked my interest in Siegfried!"

Outside of work, Martina enjoys playing tennis, exercising, and traveling. Martina was the captain of the Fordham women's tennis team!

Lauren Sorrentino, CPA

Lauren is a Certified Public Accountant who recently joined the NY Metro Market as an Associate Manager. She has four years of combined public accounting and industry experience as a Senior Audit Associate at KPMG and Senior Financial Analysis of Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting at Coty Inc. Lauren received her BBA in Accounting and Finance at Villanova University, with a minor in History.

Siegfried's assignments allow me to work in the type of challenging environment that I strive in, while also providing me access to a vast network of professional relationships."

When not at work, Lauren likes to spend most of her time enjoying the outdoors, traveling, and catching up with close friends. While at Villanova, Lauren played soccer and studied a semester abroad at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy.
