The Siegfried Group, LLP Welcomes New Professionals from the Central Region for Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Oct. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at Encore in Las Vegas, Nevada. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model and various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of the Firm's Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The group was able to unwind during cocktail receptions as well as enjoy small group dinners held at some of the finest restaurants in Las Vegas.

In Siegfried's Central region, the Firm is excited about Aisha Mirza, Jamie Gdovin and Cate McNally joining the team.

Aisha Mirza, CPA

Aisha joined the Siegfried's Detroit Market as an Associate Manager. She joins us from Deloitte, where she gained five years of audit experience working within a variety of industries. She received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting from St. John's University in New York and recently moved to Detroit.

According to Aisha, "I joined The Siegfried Group to expand my skills and gain unlimited experience in my career."

Aisha won multiple awards for excellent client service and exceeding expectations during her time at Deloitte. In addition to her accounting expertise, she is also a great henna artist!

Jamie Gdovin, CPA

Jamie is a Certified Public Accountant who joins Siegfried's Philadelphia Market as an Associate Manager. Prior to joining Siegfried, she worked as a Senior Associate at a regional accounting firm in Bala Cynwyd, PA, Xcel Energy as a Senior Internal Auditor in Denver, CO, and PwC as an associate in both Philadelphia and Denver. She graduated with her BS in Accounting and Finance and a minor in Economics from King's College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. 

"I was intrigued by Siegfried's unique culture and large variety of clients that there are to work on," Jamie says.

Jamie's lifetime goal is to visit every National Park in the US. So far she's been to nine! She is also an avid traveler, and is currently preparing for a trip to the Bavarian Alps in Germany.

Cate McNally

Cate joins Siegfried's Philadelphia market from KPMG where she gained five years of experience as a Senior Audit Associate, working within a variety of industries including manufacturing and retail. She received her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Scranton. 

Cate cites the interesting and challenging work as her reason for joining the Firm, and says, "I joined Siegfried because I am excited to face new experiences and the challenges that come with them."

In her spare time, Cate enjoys cooking and loves spending time at the Jersey shore during the summer.
