The SCOOTER Store Employee Honored With Patriot Award

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas, March 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The SCOOTER Store, the nation's leading provider of power mobility solutions, announced that Lorie McFarland, Senior Manager Case File Development, was honored by a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), at a recent event held at company headquarters in New Braunfels, TX.

McFarland accepted the Patriot Award from Roland A. Keller, Ombudsman for the Texas Committee of ESGR. McFarland received the award for her extraordinary support of company employee Megan Eichelberger who serves as a Sergeant in the Army reserves. Eichelberger is preparing for deployment for military duties.
