Robert Berger PhD Assumes Marketing Leadership Role for the Company
NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas, Sept. 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The SCOOTER Store, the nation's leading provider of power mobility solutions, has appointed Dr. Robert Berger as Chief Marketing Officer. In the CMO role, Dr. Berger is responsible for driving day-to-day execution and improvement of the company's marketing plan and branding. Berger also manages the company's marketing-related vendor and agency relationships and is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the marketing budget, campaign reporting, and market research and analysis.
Dr. Berger joined The SCOOTER Store in November 2002 as the director of Leadership Development. During his tenure, he served as Vice President of Learning and Organizational Development, Vice President of Marketing Research and Analysis, and Special Assistant to the President.

Prior to being employed by The SCOOTER Store, Berger worked in corporate research as well as leadership and organizational development at USAA. He also served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force as a pilot, and as a professor at the U.S. Air Force Academy where he was the deputy department head of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership.
Dr. Berger graduated from the Air Force Academy with a degree in Human Factors Engineering and completed a Master of Arts degree in Cognitive Psychology from Rice University. He also completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University, England.
