The Safariland Group Appoints Brad E. Williams as Chief Operating Officer
Expands Executive Team with New Senior Position
ONTARIO, Calif., April 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Safariland Group ("Safariland" or the "Company"), a leading global provider of safety and survivability products designed for the public safety, military, professional and outdoor markets, today announced it has named Brad E. Williams to the newly created role of chief operating officer, effective immediately. Williams, who brings nearly 20 years of senior leadership and management experience in the technology and engineered products industries to Safariland, will be responsible for overseeing the Company's operations and driving continued innovation across its portfolio of brands and product offerings. He will report to Scott O'Brien, president of Safariland.
Williams most recently served as president of the Material Processing Technologies Group at IDEX Corporation, where he was responsible for managing four business units across Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. Prior to IDEX, he spent four years at Danaher Corporation, where he held functional leadership and general management roles of increasing responsibility. Williams began his career at Ingersoll-Rand Company, where he held positions across manufacturing, customer service, marketing and aftermarket.
