Analyst Update: Financial Results, Upcoming Earnings, Dividend, and New Contracts

Volatility gripped the U.S. market on Tuesday as the Dow Jones Industrial Average, which vaulted over 282 points during the session, erased all the gains and slipped into negative territory, led by a decline in materials and energy shares. The U.S. stocks fluctuated between gains and losses during the session, mirroring the movement in oil prices which tumbled to near six-year lows before recovering. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended the session 0.15% lower at 17,613.68, the S&P 500 lost 0.26% to close at 2,023.03, and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 0.07% to 4,661.50. Meanwhile, European shares rose for the second consecutive session on Tuesday, helped by rally in retail stocks and data showing that U.K. inflation fell to the lowest level in 15 years. Most of the Asian markets also ended lower on Tuesday as continued drop in the prices of oil turned investors cautious towards risky assets.
A diversified North American mining Company - Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. (Thompson Creek) reported a staggering 152.5% YoY improvement in its third quarter 2014 top line, primarily due to copper and gold revenue of $100.7 million from Mt. Milligan Mine. However, the Company reported losses for the quarter, compared to profit reported in the same quarter previous year.
Timkensteel Corp. (Timkensteel) will release its fourth quarter 2014 financial results on January 29, 2015, after the market closes on the New York Stock Exchange. The Company will also hold a conference call on January 30, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. EST to discuss its results.
Titan International Inc.'s (Titan International) Board of Directors approved fourth quarter 2014 cash dividend of $0.005 per common share. The said dividend will be payable on January 15, 2015, to stockholders of record on Wednesday, December 31, 2014.
TRC Companies, Inc. (TRC Companies) won two contracts from the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) for a total of $8.5 million. The Contracts pertains to highway improvement projects for the OCTA. The project work is expected to go on over the next three years.
Trex Company, Inc. (Trex Company) reported third quarter 2014 financial results, turning the Company around from losses reported in the same quarter previous year. The Company's top line for the quarter also witnessed significant improvement.
