The Renal Physicians Association Offers Timely and Informative Meaningful Use Webinar
ROCKVILLE, Md., July 15, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Nephrologists face potential losses in practice revenue if they choose not to participate in meaningful use and fail to claim the hardship exception this year.
With increasing penalties every year from 1% of Medicare payments in 2015 up to a possible 5% in 2019, a nephrologist's loss of income in 2019 could go as high as $15,500. However, by beginning Stage 1 of Meaningful Use in 2013, a nephrologist could earn up to $27,000 (per physician) over the next two years!
To enable nephrology practitioners to learn more about the consequences and benefits of participating in Meaningful Use, RPA is sponsoring a timely and informative webinar. This webinar will be held on August 6, 2013, 5:00-6:00pm (ET). The registration fee is $49 for RPA members and $99 for non-members. Registration is now open for this webinar.
