The Princeton Review & Union Plus Kick-Off College Readiness Program for Union Members
FRAMINGHAM, Mass., Aug. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- To help provide affordable college preparatory services for union members -- and their families -- who are interested in pursuing higher education degrees, The Princeton Review (Nasdaq: REVU) in conjunction with Union Plus, the benefits arm of the AFL-CIO, officially launched today their College Readiness Program (www.UnionPlus.org/CollegePrep).
Initially announced last June, the program is available to 13 million union members at significantly discounted prices, and includes classroom and online undergraduate and graduate test preparation courses for the SAT®, ACT®, MCAT®, LSAT®, GMAT®, and GRE® as well as private tutoring.
"We're excited about launching this program with Union Plus and providing union members with a comprehensive array of college readiness services," said Scott Kirkpatrick, President of the Test Preparation and Admissions Services division at The Princeton Review. "Through this program we are offering working families access to substantial resources that will help them not only get into their schools of choice, but ultimately gain a competitive edge in an increasingly competitive job market."
"Working families need to get the best value from every dollar they spend on education," said Leslie Tolf, President of Union Plus. "Thanks to our new program with The Princeton Review, union members now have access to quality college preparation at more affordable prices."
College Admissions and Financial Aid Offerings
As part of the program, union members and their families will also have access to The Princeton Review's recently announced College Admissions and Financial Aid courses. The series of six courses are designed to deliver the lessons and skills that college bound students and their parents need to successfully navigate the college research, application and financial aid processes. Taking place in a live online format, the courses are taught by national experts including Rob Franek, author of The Princeton Review's Best 373 Colleges, and Kal Chany, author of Paying for College Without Going Broke.
