The PBL Announces Updated Dates to the National Combine Tryout Weekend

CHICAGO, Aug. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Due to an overwhelming response to the PBL National Combine Tryout weekend, the Premier Basketball League has decided to reschedule the tryouts to October 1st & 2nd.  The decision to postpone the event was made to ensure that adequate staff are on site and able to accommodate all athletes. The tryouts remain at the Attack Athletics facility in Chicago, IL.

The registration fee will remain at $50 for preregistered athletes as well as walk-ups at the door. The PBL is offering athletes an accommodation package for $175 per player. The accommodation package includes two nights at the selected hotel, combine registration fee and shuttle service between the hotel and the Attack Athletics facility.  The package is also available at $125 per player that chooses to share accommodations.  If an athlete decides to purchase the accommodation package, their payment must be received by the League office no later than Friday September 23rd.

7:30am: Shuttle departure from hotel to Attack Athletics Facility
8:00 – 9:00am: Player Registration
9:00 – 9:15am: PBL Management Team Introduction
9:15 – 12:00pm: Skill testing and positional breakdowns
12:00pm-12:55pm: Break for lunch
1:00pm-3:45pm: 5on5 games
3:45pm-4:00pm: Player selection for Sunday's combine
4:15pm: Shuttle departure to back to Hotel

Sunday October 2, 2011

8:00am: Shuttle departure from hotel to Attack
8:30am-9:00am: Player Sign-in
9:00am-10:00am: Player measurement and warm-ups
10:00am-1:00pm: 5on5 games
1:30pm-2:00pm: League Management with closing words
2:15pm: Shuttle departure returning to Hotel
