"The Other Aspect of Health Care: DENTAL CARE"
CHICAGO, Feb. 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Recognizing that many people ignore the signals that their mouths are sending them regarding their overall health, SAVE THE PATIENT is hosting another community show to bring education, insights and resources to the Chicago public.
On Monday, February 22 at 6:00pm, Chicago Access Network (CAN-TV), Channel 21, will air a live call-in program, "Community Health," focusing on the important role dental health care plays in maintaining and restoring good health.
Host Lenore Janecek, president and founder of SAVE THE PATIENT, and Mark C. Hutten, DDS, MS, director of the General Practice Residency Program and Dental Oncologic Services at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, will discuss how problems in the mouth can seriously affect other parts of your body and your overall health. Dr. Hutten will highlight some of the warning signs of which patients should be aware, and will provide information on local services available to help individuals get the dental health care they need.
The program will provide resources, ranging from websites and local dental care clinics to clinics that will pay or subsidize dental care for those in need, whether children, adults or senior citizens. Viewers, who wish to join in discussions can call-in to pose their questions.
