The Orleans Hotel & Casino Named as IGT's First sbX(TM) Field Trial Location in Nevada on Non-IGT System

LAS VEGAS, June 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT), a global leader in creating the games players love and network systems that improve the player experience, announced today that Boyd Gaming signed an agreement making The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas the first official Nevada field trial location for sbX™ Floor Manager on a competitor systems network. The agreement is proof of sbX™ Floor Manager's flexibility, the continued industry-wide adoption of IGT's sbX™ server-based gaming solution, and demonstrates the system's superior functionality and design.

IGT has installed its award-winning sbX™ Floor Manager system on select AVP® machines at The Orleans as part of the field trial. sbX™ Floor Manager is GSA-compliant and will work alongside The Orleans' existing casino management system. sbX™ Floor Manager provides The Orleans unlimited access to IGT's expansive game library of nearly 300 game themes with new themes added each month. It also allows casino operators to change themes in near real-time to match player interest, offer the freshest game content and reduce the time it takes to place new themes on the floor.
