Taking place on September 11, 2011, in the nation's capital, The Nation's Tri will mark its fourth year of bringing together triathletes for the common cause of helping cancer patients live longer better lives while taking on one of the country's premiere athletic events.
The Nation's Triathlon course takes you past the spectacular monuments and landmarks of historic Washington, D.C., including a 1.5K swim in the Potomac River, a 40K bike ride through scenic vistas, and a 10k run through downtown D.C.
TNT participants raise funds to support lifesaving cancer research. In return they get a customized training plan from TNT's certified coaches; scheduled group runs with the coach and a supportive team; tips on form, injury prevention, hydration and nutrition. TNT now also offers TNT Flex, a customized, online training option.
"Team In Training participants who sign on to do The Nation's Triathlon to Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society can look forward to a fabulous, activity-filled weekend in Washington, D.C.," said Nancy L.
