The National Press Club to Host its First Ever 3D Movie Night
Harris Corporation Expert to Discuss 3D TV Technology and Industry Impact

Event: The First 3D Movie shown at the National Press Club.
When: Monday, April 5, doors open at 6:00PM, program begins at 6:30PM.
Where: The National Press Club, 529 14th Street NW, Washington, D.C.
Who: Space is limited to 25 attendees (the number of active 3-D glasses available). Working media have priority, however, unreserved spots will be offered to others.

Details: Harris Corporation, a communications and information technology company, is making it possible for the National Press Club to host a viewing of a 3-D movie for the first time. The movie, Monsters vs. Aliens, will be preceded by an explanation of the 3-D technology and how it works by a Harris Broadcast Communications Division subject matter expert who is also available to answer 3D questions. Movie theater style refreshments will be served.
The equipment will also be used April 7-9 at the club to show the Masters golf tournament, which will have portions broadcast nationally in 3D.
The equipment will remain in the Club for several months and be used for frequent 3D movie nights and other broadcast events as more 3D content becomes available.
