The National Law Journal Names Bloomberg Law's Brian Kudowitz to Inaugural List of Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Trailblazers
ARLINGTON, Va., Dec. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Brian Kudowitz, Bloomberg Law's Commercial Product Director for Privacy & Data Security, has been named one of only 50 Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Trailblazers by The National Law Journal. The award recognizes legal and technology leaders who have set the bar for advancing and innovating cybersecurity and data privacy within the legal profession.
Brian was honored for his role as a "lead architect" behind the recently-launched Bloomberg Law: Privacy & Data Security. The National Law Journal highlighted Brian and his team's development of the product after hearing about several different categories of needs from the industry: practitioners had a very fragmented workflow; the industry is inescapably global; and knowing what's happening today and yesterday is not quite enough since practitioners need to have an idea of what to expect tomorrow. The National Law Journal also emphasized various aspects of the newly-launched product, including a global news heat map, an upcoming enactments timeline, in-depth risk environment profiles for dozens of countries, and a Chart Builder tools to quickly compare laws and requirements across multiple states and countries.
"We are thrilled to see Brian featured on this esteemed list and congratulate him on this noteworthy recognition," said Alex Butler, Vice President & General Manager for Privacy & Data Security at Bloomberg BNA. "This is an extremely well-deserved honor for Brian, and he worked diligently in collaboration with a talented and dedicated team of colleagues from across the business, to develop the Bloomberg Law: Privacy & Data Security tool."
Brian will be honored at an event in New York on Wednesday, December 16. For more information on Bloomberg Law: Privacy & Data Security, visit here.
