The National Association for Business Resources Announces Chicago's 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For
WARREN, Mich., June 29, 2011/PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Chicago companies want to hire the best employees, train them well and retain their talent. And these Chicago firms want to be recognized for their efforts. The National Association for Business Resources (NABR) has announced "Chicago's 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For." Winners will be honored at a symposium and awards luncheon on Mon., Aug. 1, 2011 at the Chicago Oak Brook Marriott.
The selection of the 2011 winning companies is a result of an independent research firm that evaluates each company's entry in the following categories: communication, community initiatives, compensation and benefits, diversity and multiculturalism, employee education and development, employee engagement and commitment, recognition and retention, small business, recruitment and selection, and work-life balance. (See following list for all 101 winners.)
"This year's winners epitomize what it means to be committed to employees. Our winners excelled at employee relations, used innovation to motivate employees, implemented creative compensation programs and more. They serve as a standard for other companies to work toward," said Jennifer Kluge, NABR president. "We are proud to honor this year's 101 winners."
The day's events will include registration and a networking continental breakfast at 8 a.m., followed by a series of interactive educational sessions that include: "Best and Brightest Employee Onboarding Strategies," "Implementing & Tracking a Strategic Recognition Rewards Program," "What are you doing with Employee Survey Results: Are you effectively using the Data?" and "Talent Development and Succession Planning: How It Can Be Done." All 101 winners will be honored during the awards luncheon and 11 elite winners will be revealed.
The awards luncheon and announcement of the 11 elite winners will begin at 11:45 a.m. Judy Hsu from ABC 7 Chicago News and Pat Cassidy from WLS News Radio will emcee the awards ceremony.
