FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Nov. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Matthew Martin, internationally acclaimed composer and organist, will take the stage at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, 5555 N. Federal Highway, for the third concert in the church's 2015-2016 Concert Series. The concert will take place on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 4 p.m. in the church's Sanctuary.

Matthew Martin's concert will feature popular organ and piano compositions spanning several decades, such as Francis Pott's "Toccata," Maurice Duruflé's "Scherzo (Op 5)" and J.S Bach's "Canonic Variations on 'Vom Himmel hoch da komm 'ich herr' (769)."
This concert at Coral Ridge is one of three tour spots sponsored by the Fratelli Ruffatti Company, which is internationally renowned for building fine pipe organs.

Matthew Martin, of The London Oratory, which is internationally recognized as one of the outstanding custodians of sacred music in the Catholic tradition, has studied at Magdalen College, Oxford, at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and with Marie-Claire Alain in Paris.
His "spikily dynamic style of composition" (BBC Music Magazine) has led him to develop compositions for many prominent ensembles including the choirs of Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, St John's College, Cambridge and the American Guild of Organists. Most recently his 2015 disc of choral music was released by the choir of Magdalen College, Oxford directed by Daniel Hyde on the Opus Arte label. As a result of the release, he was awarded a five-star review in Choir & Organ magazine.
