"We are very excited to participate in #GivingTuesday this year, and have the support of partners who are generous in rewarding our community for their commitment to men's health," said Mark Hedstrom, SVP of Operations at the Movember Foundation. "#GivingTuesday is a time for giving back, and the support of our Mo Bro's and Mo Sista's on this day truly makes a difference in helping the Foundation to ultimately stop men dying too young."
#GivingTuesday was born at 92nd Street Y (92Y), a community and cultural center in New York in 2012. Since the founding of #GivingTuesday in 2012, millions of people have come together to support and champion the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live.
"The tremendous response to #GivingTuesday over the last five years has been both humbling and inspiring," said Henry Timms, Executive Director of 92Y. "We have seen countless examples of communities coming together to address challenges. Giving is a powerful reminder of our shared humanity, and the willingness of so many to participate and elevate giving is reason for celebration – even with lots of work still to be done."

About the Movember Foundation
The Movember Foundation is the only charity tackling men's health on a global scale, year round. We run awareness and fundraising activities, with the annual Movember campaign in November being globally recognized for its fun, disruptive approach to getting men to take action for their health. During Movember, men and women around the world raise funds by growing or supporting a moustache, getting physically active, or by hosting or an event. Not only do these commitments raise vital funds, they also generate powerful and often life-changing conversations. Millions have joined the movement, raising $710M to help us fund more than 1,200 men's health projects focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
We have one goal: to stop men dying too young.
Movember is fully accredited by the Better Business Bureau, and for the past four years, has been named a Top 100 best NGO by The Global Journal. For more information please visit Movember.com. Movember is a registered 501(c)(3) charity.
