IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Tommy Chong, Esai Morales, Efren Ramirez, Martin Kove to name a few appear in this documentary about actor/comedian, Pat Morita. A campaign is being launched on Indiegogo on Tuesday, November 15th for 35 days. Please help us fund Pat Morita's life story, so that we can make his one last dying wish come true! Filmmakers, Kevin Derek and Oscar Alvarez are teaming up again after their success in securing a "Worldwide Distribution Deal" with Netflix this past March 2016, on the release of their last Award Winning feature doc, The Real Miyagi. Derek and Alvarez were approached by Evelyn Morita, Pat's wife, to come on-board and breathe life into his manuscript.

Pat had been working on a manuscript about his life, 9 years before his death. It covers all his struggles all the way to his last marriage. His last dying wish was for this to be produced and Evelyn promised Pat to make his dream come true. From the early years, battling Spinal Tuberculosis at the age of two, to being escorted by FBI agents to the Japanese internment camps, to him receiving his STAR on the Hollywood Walk of Fame; this doc tells it all. The world remembers him from his iconic role as Mr. Miyagi in the 1984 hit movie, The Karate Kid, but now it's time to dive into the real world of this super talented, but complicated man.
