PLYMOUTH, Minn., Sept. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Mosaic Company (NYSE: MOS) today announced a $100,000 contribution for disaster relief and emergency response efforts in Florida in advance of Hurricane Irma's impact. Funds will support the American Red Cross and Feeding Florida – who each will receive $50,000.
Headquartered in Plymouth, Minn., Mosaic supplies crop nutrition products to the global agriculture industry. Florida is home to many of Mosaic's phosphate production facilities and support operations. Mosaic's contribution to the American Red Cross and Feeding Florida will assist with safety and shelter, food and water, emotional support services, and long-term assistance and cleanup efforts.
