PARIS, February 23, 2011 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- This concept accelerates the testing process for broadband devices (mobile phones, smartphones, laptops, digital tablets). - Measurement speed is near real-time, thanks to a combination of multiple sensors arranged in 3D inside a sphere.

The new SG-3D concept is "all-in-one." It is composed of a spherical, shielded metal cage lined with absorber. A multitude of measurement sensors are distributed inside the sphere. This configuration allows for a 3D snapshot of the radiation of a device placed in the center of the sphere, without any mechanical movement.

SG-3D, currently an advanced prototype, has been presented at AMTA 2010 in Atlanta. In 2011, the product will be widely expanded. Several sizes are available to cover various applications from different industries.
