The McGraw-Hill Companies Appoints Terri Austin as Vice President, Diversity and Inclusion
NEW YORK, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The McGraw-Hill Companies (NYSE: MHP) today announced the appointment of Terri D. Austin as vice president, Diversity and Inclusion, effective immediately.
In her new role, Ms. Austin will be responsible for implementing an integrated diversity strategy across all of McGraw-Hill's businesses to further enhance the company's diversity and talent development programs and extend McGraw-Hill's standing as an employer of choice.

Ms. Austin brings to the company 27 years of significant experience as an accomplished leader in diversity and as a successful attorney. Recently, she served as the Chief Diversity Officer for American International Group (AIG), where she developed diversity programs for its employees, customers and communities, and introduced new training, scholarship and internship programs to help attract and retain talent. Previously, she served in a range of other senior legal and compliance roles for AIG's Domestic Brokerage Group and Domestic Claims business.
Ms. Austin holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Grinnell College, a juris doctorate from Columbia University School of Law, and a master's degree from the Columbia School of Journalism.
