MINNEAPOLIS, June 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Wells Enterprises, Inc., the maker of Blue Bunny ice cream, donated $7,500 to local charities on Tuesday, June 28 during a team-building workshop at their national sales meeting.
The workshop engaged 120 sales team members in a stuffed animal building workshop called Rescue Buddies™, a charity team-building workshop organized by Magnovo Training Group. The one and a half hour workshop highlighted the importance of sharing resources and expertise to meet the needs of others. Magnovo Training Group then made arrangements for local charities to receive the plush animals to provide to children in-need.
115 plush animals were built and donated to the Eden Prairie Fire Department, Ronald McDonald House Upper Midwest and the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital.
Mike Wells, President and CEO of Wells Enterprises, Inc., presented a $2,500 donation to representatives from each of the local charities at the end of the event.
