The Los Angeles Film School Redesigns Website Bringing the Next Generation of Muse Into Focus
HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Oct. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Los Angeles Film School, located in the heart of Hollywood, is re-launching its website with a complete interface redesign to offer a more intuitive, dynamic experience. The new site boasts a user-friendly Web design, rich content, digital media, a live chat feature, and in-depth information about its exciting programs and beautiful campus.
This new and improved website serves as a central information hub for prospective students, parents, current students, alumni, employers, industry professionals, faculty and staff.
"Whether you are viewing the new website on a smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer, the user-interface is geared to scale across all platforms seamlessly and effortlessly," said Diana Derycz-Kessler, president and CEO of The Los Angeles Film School. "Our current and prospective students and alumni will be able to easily navigate through the site to find detailed information and resources."
New features include a scrolling homepage, which lands on videos that provide visitors a glimpse into student life; a new "Discover LA" section with dozens of highlighted local hotspots; alumni spotlights, faculty achievements; and the integration of the school's Brain Blog, which previously occupied a separate domain.
"The new website will be updated often, and we will continue to update the Brain Blog on a daily basis to include engaging content for all visitors," said Ben Chaib, vice president, marketing at The Los Angeles Film School. "We will continue to make further improvements to the site over the next several weeks, including exciting on-campus events and a calendar for outreach activities, additional HD video content, multimedia contests and more."
The newly designed site will also include information on The Los Angeles Film School's diverse portfolio of entertainment-centric programs to include digital and traditional Film, Music Production, Recording Arts, Computer Animation, Game Production, and Entertainment Business, complementing classroom lectures with immersive, hands-on instruction with the use of industry-standard technology in their many labs.
Late 2012, The Los Angeles Film School launched its Entertainment Business Bachelor of Science, and in 2013, introduced the new Music Production program. The Entertainment Business bachelor program is headed by Universal's former president of production, Hal Lieberman. Entertainment Business grooms students to be tactical, operational professionals in management, planning and negotiations in the Hollywood proving ground. The Music Production program offers students instruction from award-winning industry professionals, parlaying musicians' passion for all music with a special focus on electronic dance music "EDM" and transforming it into actual production of song, using the latest in composition technology and theory.
