"I'm excited to be working with Alan and THE LOOK," said Mason Stern. "It's a great opportunity for actors and celebrities to extend their professional brand."
Katie Mason Stern is a talent and brand manager at Luber Roklin Entertainment, a talent management and production company representing actors, writers and directors, and producing features and television. She not only develops the acting careers of her clients, but also strives to build a beneficial relationship between her celebrity talent and established brands. Her personal interest and empathy for full-careered family women inspires her to especially seek collaboration with talented clients such as Kelly Rutherford, Elisabeth Rohm, Ally Walker, Denise Richards, Rosa Blasi, and others.
After training for her career in representation at Intertalent and UTA, Mason Stern became an agent with APA in 1993, where she developed an eye for finding young talent. She often traveled to film festivals, where she discovered talents such as Hilary Swank, Amy Smart, Jamie Kennedy, Jacinda Barrett, and Rose McGowan.
Eventually, she crossed over to management and moved to Addis-Wechsler Management and from there to CAA, where she concentrated on talent branding and new media. This focus continued during her five-year tenure at Paradigm.
A Los Angeles native, Mason Stern grew up spending summers across the Atlantic — living in London and traveling throughout Europe. She played tennis at the collegiate level for University of Arizona and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree at University of California, Los Angeles.
Mason Stern resides in Los Angeles with her family — her husband, her four year-old son Oliver, and a baby girl on the way. The family is passionate about traveling — continuing the tradition of her own childhood and adopting the world as a wide-reaching classroom for her son's education. Additionally, she advocates charity work and pursues an active involvement with organizations such as Much Love Animal Rescue, Step Up for Charity, and Children of the Night. She is grateful for how full her life is, firmly believing that her constant endeavors towards this precious balance have made her a better manager, wife, and mother.
