Top-four national wholesale lender unveils new name and brand built around broker partnership, technology and product breadth

TUCSON, Ariz., Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Loan Store, Inc., one of the four largest wholesale mortgage lenders in the United States, today announced it has changed its name to Averra Financial, Inc. The new brand, effective immediately, reflects the company's growth into a national lending platform and its continued commitment to the independent mortgage brokers it serves. Since acquiring the wholesale business of Homepoint in 2023, the company has expanded its product set, technology and national footprint, becoming a top-four wholesale lender in three years and building one of the largest non-QM platforms across all channels of lending. The Averra Financial name was chosen to signal that next chapter: a lender with the scale to compete nationally and the service model to keep brokers at the center of every loan.
