The Light Group Announces Weekend of Events and Appearances by Hollywood's Hottest Stars May 20 - 21

LAS VEGAS, May 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading hospitality development and management company, The Light Group, is excited to announce an upcoming weekend of events hosted by Hollywood's hottest stars, beginning Friday, May 20, 2011.  The parties will take place at The Light Group's premiere daylife and nightlife destinations on The Strip including Liquid Pool Lounge and HAZE Nightclub at ARIA Resort & Casino as well as The Bank Nightclub at Bellagio Resort & Casino.

Six-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Fergie kicks off the star-studded weekend as she returns to host another blow-out bash at The Light Group's Las Vegas hotspot HAZE Nightclub inside ARIA Resort & Casino, creating an unforgettable evening for partygoers.  In Las Vegas to perform at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards, Fergie will celebrate The Black Eyed Peas' four nominations while hosting the one-of-a-kind event at HAZE.  

Reality TV starlet Aubrey O'Day will continue The Light Group's stellar weekend lineup Saturday, May 21 at Liquid Pool Lounge at ARIA.  O'Day will join daytime revelers for a special afternoon poolside event while DJ Loczi performs a special live set behind the turntables.  Following a day of fun in the sun, The Light Group will host Billboard Magazine's official pre-party for the 2011 Billboard Music Awards in partnership with BCBGMAXAZRIA, Chevrolet and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority at its exclusive Bellagio nightlife destination, The Bank Nightclub.  Also on Saturday evening, R&B superstar Keri Hilson will entertain guests at HAZE Nightclub at ARIA as she performs an exclusive live show.  Hilson will belt out hits including her smash single "Pretty Girl Rock" from her highly-acclaimed album, No Boys Allowed.

The Ivey League $1,000,000 Poker Invitational also will be taking place at ARIA Resort & Casino Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21.  To launch the tournament, notable poker players and celebrity guests will attend a special cocktail reception at The Deuce Lounge on Friday evening.  On Saturday, invited guests will join professional poker player Phil Ivey in the ARIA Poker Room where they will compete for the $250,000 first-place prize.
