The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Kicks off the 2015 North Bay Man & Woman of the Year Campaign
Influential Leaders Compete to Raise Funds in Honor of Local Blood Cancer Survivors
SANTA ROSA, Calif., April 8, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Northern California Chapter is thrilled to be launching its 2015 North Bay Man & Woman of the Year fundraising campaign on April 9, 2015 at its Kickoff Party at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. This year the North Bay campaign has six candidates competing to raise funds for blood cancer research and cures.
The Man & Woman of the Year campaign is an annual 10-week fundraising competition between community leaders united by one goal, to use their leadership skills to raise funds to help blood cancer patients live longer and more fulfilling lives. The six candidates are competing in honor of the 2015 North Bay Boy & Girl of the Year Jayden Z. and Anniston K., respectively, who are both local blood cancer survivors. Every dollar counts as one vote and the titles are awarded to the man and woman with the most votes at the end of the campaign.

The North Bay Man & Woman of the Year campaign will culminate at the Grand Finale Celebration on June 20, 2015 at the Jacuzzi Family Winery.
