Heineken has supported the Latin GRAMMYs since the telecast's inception. Heineken will serve as the official beer and malt beverage sponsor of the Latin GRAMMY Awards, sponsoring the "green carpet" at the telecast, the 2010 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year tribute to Placido Domingo, and serving once again as the presenting sponsor of the Latin GRAMMY After Party. Additionally, Heineken's annual Green Ribbon Initiative culminates at this year's Latin GRAMMY Awards where it will reach its goal of raising $100,000 to support music education and programming. This year's beneficiary will be a DJ Academy which will implement Spanish-language workshops.
Hennessy returns for the third consecutive year as the official spirit of the Latin GRAMMY Awards, the Person of the Year Tribute to Placido Domingo, and the official Latin GRAMMY After Party.
