The Lanier Law Firm Home to Two Northern California Rising Stars Honorees
PALO ALTO, Calif., Aug. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Lanier Law Firm is pleased to announce that two attorneys from the firm's Palo Alto, Calif., office have earned spots on the 2012 Northern California Rising Stars listing.
This marks the second year that firm attorney Christopher Banys has earned a spot among northern California's top young lawyers, and represents the first selection for Richard Lin. Both lawyers are recognized for their work handling intellectual property litigation for a variety of businesses and individual inventors.
Rising Stars honorees are the top lawyers age 40 or younger, or those who have been licensed for less than 10 years. To develop the annual listing, researchers with Thomson Reuters' Legal division solicit nominations from attorneys across the state, and no more than 2.5 percent of eligible lawyers earn the distinction each year.
The complete listing is published online at www.superlawyers.com, and appears in both the August edition of San Francisco magazine and the recently published Northern California Super Lawyers magazine.
"Chris and Richard are outstanding lawyers and leaders in the intellectual property arena," says firm founder Mark Lanier. "We are proud that they have earned this honor, and I feel it exemplifies the level of excellence of every attorney at our firm."
