The Krystal Company® Doubles The Flavor With New Stackers

ATLANTA, May 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The South's favorite little burger just got a whole lot bigger. The Krystal Company introduces Krystal Stackers, a new line of its all-beef, grilled-to-order burgers featuring twice the juicy meat and ingredients of the famous Krystal, adding an indulgent big burger experience to its small, square, steamy bun.

Now available at all 350 Krystal restaurants, Stackers are the first major new product launch since 2010, when the chain rolled out its Game Time Wings. To celebrate, Krystal is offering Stackers at an introductory price of two for $3.

"Our loyal customers are always looking for new ways to enjoy the famous Krystal," said Krystal Vice President of Menu Strategy Stan Dorsey. "They dreamed it, and we did it – doubling the flavor our fans crave while keeping our distinctive size that makes a Krystal, a Krystal."

Stackers can be ordered in four different ways, adding variety – and more beef – to Krystal's deliciously simple menu. Purists can order Stackers in the Original style, served with two all-beef patties and Krystal's traditional toppers – onions, pickles and mustard – on a steamed bun. The Cheese Stacker adds two slices of American cheese between the two patties; the Bacon and Cheese Stacker gets even better with crispy bacon; and the Deluxe Stacker ramps up the flavor with lettuce, tomato and mayo, along with the classic Krystal condiments.

Cooked fresh-to-order all day, the doubly good burgers are also available as a combo – fans can mix and match any two Stackers, along with an order of medium fries and medium drink, for one low price.
