The KIND Foundation and Venture for America Team Up to Host Summit for Entrepreneurs Looking to Change the World

NEW YORK, June 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The KIND Foundation, a separate 501(c)(3) organization established by KIND® – a "not-only-for-profit"® company – announces it will host an educational Summit for aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs focused on building businesses that will positively impact their communities. The charitable effort is part of the Foundation's mission to advance healthier and more connected communities. Together with Venture for America, a nonprofit fellowship program that empowers young people to revitalize American cities and communities through entrepreneurship, the Foundation will host the Summit in November during National Entrepreneurship Month. KIND will provide support for the Summit, shutting its doors and mobilizing team members across every department – from marketing and communications to operations and customer service – as part of the company's day of service. Throughout the day, Daniel Lubetzky, the Foundation's President and KIND's Founder & CEO – along with the KIND team – will lead educational sessions covering KIND's early mistakes and lessons learned, along with other topics relevant to those starting out in business.

As PAGE members, both Lubetzky and Yang are dedicated to passing on their experiences to future leaders and utilizing entrepreneurship to build communities. Lubetzky and Yang announced the partnership at this week's Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) – an annual event hosted by President Obama and attended by 700 entrepreneurs representing 170 countries and territories.
