The JED Foundation Hosts 14th Annual "The Brightest Night" Gala
Event Celebrates The JED Foundation's Dedication to Promoting Mental Health Among Students and Young Adults
NEW YORK, June 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The JED Foundation, a leading non-profit working to promote mental health and wellness among college students and young adults, is hosting their 14th annual "The Brightest Night" Gala. "The Brightest Night" is an evening of celebration and support for The JED Foundation's work with schools, students and communities to reduce the risk of emotional distress and suicide and help more teens and young people thrive. The event will take place on June 3, 2015 in the River Pavilion at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

"The Brightest Night" Gala will be co-hosted by author/television host, Stacy London, actress/Love is Louder co-founder, Brittany Snow, and actor/activist, Tyler James Williams. The event will feature special performances from students making a difference on their campuses, and highlight The JED Foundation's programs for colleges, parents and young people.
Honorees at the event will include:
- Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc. receiving The JED Foundation Corporate Award for leadership in mental health
- Sonia Doshi, University of Michigan student, receiving the Jerry Greenspan Student Voice of Mental Health Award
- Students across the country receiving the Voice of Mental Health Award for raising the volume on this conversation
