Matt Andersen has served as Director of the USDOC Commercial Service's San Diego Export Assistance Center since August 1997. Prior to this assignment, Matt served as the Director of the USDOC San Francisco Bay Area office for over two years. The mission of the USDOC's network of Commercial Service offices located throughout the nation and around the world (in our U.S. embassies and consulates) is to help U.S. companies expand their export business.
In addition to his corporate background and over 25 years of service with the U.S. Department of Commerce, Mr. Andersen also has experience working in the U.S. House of Representatives, city management, and trade associations. His overseas experience with the U.S. Commercial Service includes temporary assignments and trade missions in Japan, South Africa, Mexico, and several European countries. Mr. Andersen has been awarded by the World Trade Center San Diego as "International Business Leader of the Year." He also received the USDOC/ITA "Field Manager of the Year" award.
Geoffrey Bogart, Commercial Officer

Geoff Bogart is currently in charge of the California/Mexico Border Trade Office, based in San Diego and in partnership with the Tijuana Economic Development Corporation in Baja. Mr. Bogart was previously Principal Commercial Officer at the U.S. Consulate in Monterrey, Mexico. He also served as Commercial Officer in the American Embassy in Bogota, Colombia. Mr. Bogart has prior professional experience with SAIC, the City of San Diego, County of San Bernardino, and as a trade show organizer.
